What is myChecksAI?

myChecksAI helps landlords and letting agents run tenant referencing faster — primarily through WhatsApp. Start checks, invite applicants, collect details and references, then review everything in one place.

Do tenants need to create an account or download an app?

No. Tenants complete the submission via WhatsApp (or a simple web fallback) without creating an account.

What do I need to start a check?

Usually the tenant’s name, WhatsApp number, and rental address. Email helps (but you can still begin without it).

How fast is it?

You can start a check in under 60 seconds. Completion depends on applicant/referee response time — the aim is to reduce drop-offs so checks complete faster with less chasing.

How does the free check work?

You get 1 free check to experience the full workflow. Free checks are limited to prevent abuse (we may restrict repeated use from the same WhatsApp number).

Is it GDPR friendly?

We’re designed to support UK GDPR principles: transparency, data minimisation, security, and clear rights requests. Marketing opt-outs are supported via STOP, separate from transactional messages.

Where is data stored?

Data is hosted and managed in the EU. We use trusted subprocessors such as Twilio (WhatsApp delivery), Stripe (payments) and Meta/Facebook where relevant.

Can I use this without a laptop?

Yes — that’s the point. Start checks and track progress from WhatsApp. Use the dashboard when you want deeper visibility and reporting.
